Indian Rare Earths Ltd (IREL) a Mini-Ratna category – I Public Sector Undertaking under the administrative control of the Department of Atomic Energy is the industry leader in the area of Beach Sand Minerals like ilmenite, rutile (titanium ores), zircon, monazite, sillimanite, etc., and producer of rare earths (Lanthanides) chemicals, thorium nitrate etc. The company requires proactive professionals for the following positions for its Corporate Office, Mumbai and its units at Aluva/Chavara in Kerala, Manavalakurichi in Tamil Nadu and Chatrapur in Odisha.

Qualification/Job Profile:

1.         Sr. Manager (Marketing)

            Essential

a)      Technical qualification

Only full time regular Engineering Degree i.e. B.E., B.Tech. and B.Sc. Engineering or M.Tech in Geo-exploration/Geo-Science from UGC recognized Indian Universities / UGC recognized Indian Deemed Universities or AICTE approved Indian Institutions / concerned statutory councils wherever applicable.

b)      Management Qualification

Two years Post–Graduate Degree or Diploma in Management /Business Management with specialization in Marketing from reputed Institute /University(AICTE recognized) or P.G.Diploma from Indian Institute of Foreign Trade, New Delhi.  In case of post graduate qualification in Management with specialization in Marketing duly recognized equivalent qualifications shall also be considered.

c)      Experience

12 years post qualification experience after engineering graduation.

Desirable

i)     Experience in preparation and consolidation of market related MIS, analyzing and   identifying key factors for management decisions.  He/She should also have experience of carrying out desk research related with marketing intelligence in an industry. Co-ordinating, preparing and collecting data with industry reference facilitating management decision in manufacturing, Process, Mining Industries and Research Institutions in preceding five years as on 22.07.2013.

ii)    Computer literacy with exposure in e-bidding/e-auction, exposure to strategic marketing of minerals.

Qualification:

MBBS(Allopathic System) with internship from a recognized university and approved by the Medical Council of India.

Candidates possessing MD(Allopathic System) are also eligible to apply

Preference will be given to candidates having PG certificate course in Industrial Health/Associate Fellow of Industrial Health from Central Labour Institute, Mumbai or any other recognized Institute of India.

3.         Officer (Secretarial Services)

            Qualification:

            Graduate in any discipline from a recognized university with 50% marks.

Computer Proficiency:

One year Certificate Course/One year Diploma in Computer Application from an Institute of repute.

Desirable:

Diploma in Secretarial Practice or Diploma in Office Management from recognized and reputed institution.

Good written and verbal communication skills in English and working knowledge of Hindi.

Job Profile:

Managing internal & external communication on behalf of the top management.

Managing access to top management by screening calls and visitors to determine appropriate course of action.

Must be able to handle a wide range of administrative and executive support related tasks independently.

Maintaining confidentiality and professionalism while dealing with staff at all levels, all in a fast paced environment.

Excellent writing/drafting skills.

Excellent calendar management skills, including the co-ordination of complex executive meetings.

Good knowledge of MS Office, including Word and interfacing with databases such as MS Excel, Power Point and Outlook and the ability to operate automated printers, scanners, copiers, fax machines, scheduling appointments, pre-proof reading letters, documents, presentations and correspondences.

Experience in scheduling travel arrangements for management.

Prioritize and manage key projects in an efficient and timely manner.

Work closely with top management to disseminate hard copy or e-mail campaigns to consultants, clients etc.

Capacity to multi-tasks, interact with all levels of management, enjoy a team environment and work independently.

Experience:

For Private Sector candidates:

15 years post qualification secretarial experience out of which minimum 3 years experience of having worked/reported to Directors/CEOs of Private Sector companies having Annual Turnover not less than Rs.100 crores.

For Public Sector/Autonomous/Govt. candidates:

15 years post qualification secretarial experience out of which minimum 3 years experience of having worked with Sectional/Departmental Heads.
