Job Description
SAIL/Bokaro Steel Plant and Steel Refractory Unit, (SRU) offers excellent career opportunities to experienced, energetic, dynamic medical professionals as, Medical Officers. Opportunities are also being offered for Paramedical staff in the following discipline for providing best healthcare facilities at Bokaro General Hospital & its Health Centres.

Relaxation in age: – 5 years for SC/ST, 3 years for OBC and 10 years for PH candidates. For Ex-servicemen, age relaxation applicable as per rules.
Emoluments and other benefits:
The emoluments for the post of Medical Officer include basic pay, dearness allowances, non-practicing allowance, perquisites and other facilities such as medical facility for self and family, provident fund, gratuity etc., as admissible as per rules of the company. In addition, House Rent will be paid only where company accommodation is not available.
Application fee
For posts Medical Officer (ME-1), Pay in Slip for Rs. 500/- (non-refundable) for Gen/OBC as application fee and Rs 100/- (non-refundable) for SC/ST/PWD/Departmental candidates (Of BSL) as processing fee.

The emoluments for the post of Paramedical Staff on confirmation after 2 years of training will include basic pay, dearness allowance, reimbursement of local travelling expenses and other facilities such as  such as medical facility for self and family, provident fund, gratuity, LTC etc., as admissible as per rules of the company. In addition, House Rent allowance will be paid only where company accommodation is not available.
Application fee
For post of Paramedical Staff from Sl.No.01-06, Pay in Slip for Rs 250/- (non-refundable) and for Paramedical staff posts from Sl.No.07-08, Pay in Slip for Rs.150/- (non-refundable) forGen/OBC category candidates as application fee.
