The Institute of Microbial Technology, a constituent establishment of the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research, Government of India, wishes to recruit Research Associate/Project Assistant/JRF on temporary basis to work in DBT/DST funded projects in this Institute as per details given below.
1.Research Associate -Â (05 position) for DBT/DST funded Project
Educational Qualification:
PhD (Thesis submitted/awarded) Â in Life Sciences, Molecular Biology, Immunology, Biotechnology, Genetics, Cell Biology, Genetic Engineering, Zoology, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Animal Sciences, Pharmacology, Bioinformatics, Chemical Sciences /Environmental Science, with sufficient working experience in Immunology/Molecular Biology/peptide synthesis/ M.Tech. in Pharm. Biotechnology.
Desirable:Â Â Â Â Â Practical experience in handling small experimental animals, mammalian tissue culture, working with pathogens like Mycobacterium tuberculosis, computational biology and sufficient exposure of analytical/ immune clinical techniques. Experience in the area of biocatalysis.
Stipend:Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â – Rs. 22,000/-plus HRA @ 20%
Age limit :          - 35 years as on 26.07.2013
2.Project Assistants – (04 positions) for DBT/DST funded Project
Educational Qualification: 1st Class M.Sc in Life Sciences, Microbiology, Biochemistry,  Immunology, Bioinformatics, Molecular Biology, Zoology, Cell Biology,
Desirable: Practical research experience in the areas mentioned above and knowledge of confocal microscopy.
Stipend: – Rs. 16,000/-,Rs. 12,000/-, Rs. 10,000/-, Rs. 8000/- depending upon sanction of  sponsoring agency.
Age limit– 28 years as on 26.07.2013
3.JRF (Projects) – (02 positions) for DST funded Project
Educational Qualification: 1st Class M.Sc in Life Sciences, Microbiology, Biochemistry,  Molecular Biology, Cell Biology,
Desirable: Practical research experience in the areas mentioned above.
Stipend:Â – Rs. 12,000/-p.m.
Age limit– 28 years as on 26.07.2013
