United Bank of India Recruitment 2012 – Officer & Clerical Cadre Vacancies

Educational Qualification:
Candidates must possess Graduation in any discipline for Officer Posts and must have passed in 10+2 or equivalent for Clerk post, from recognized University. For details of Sports Qualifications see Detailed Notification.

Educational  Qualification should be as on 01.08.2012

Selection Procedure:

The selection will be made on the basis of performance of the candidates in the interview and on-Field Trials. Merely satisfying the eligibility norms will not entitle a candidate to be called for interview. Depending on the number of applications received , the Bank reserve the right to call  only the required number  of candidates  after preliminary screening with reference to their educational qualifications ,suitability, sports qualification /experience age ,etc. The short listed candidates will be called for interview and on Field Trials.  Selection    process may vary depending upon the level of responses received against each post.


PROBATION PERIOD:

JMG Scale- I-     2 Years
Clerical Cadre – 6 months

Application Fee :
General and OBC candidates need to pay application fee of Rs. 400/- for Officer Posts and Rs. 200/- for Clerical posts. EXSM/SC/ST candidates need to pay application fee of Rs. 50/- for any of the posts.

Apply Details :
i) Applicants are first required to go to the Bank’s website and click on the Home Page and open the link
’Recruitment’. Thereafter open the notification for Recruitments of Sportsperson
ii) Take a Printout of the ‘Deposit Challan’ and application format.
iii) Fill in the Deposit Challan in a clear and legible handwriting in BLOCK LETTERS.
iv) Go to the nearest United Bank Branch with the Challan and pay, in Cash, the appropriate Application Fee in
CBS Account no. 0389050194433 The details of fee to be paid is indicated below :
v) In case a candidate chooses to pay fees through NEFT ( IFSC Code :UTBI0 OCH175)—Go to the Nearest
branch of any Bank and pay the appropriate application fee in Account no. 0389050194433 with Old Court
House Street Branch . Fill in the NEFT receipt in a Clear and legible hand writing .
