Mahatma Gandhi University has recently announced the recruitment of 92 guest/contract faculty positions in various schools, including the School of Artificial Intelligence & Robotics, School of Behavioural Sciences, School of Biosciences, School of Chemical Sciences, School of Computer Science, School of Data Analytics, School of Energy Materials, School of Environmental Sciences, and School of Indian Legal Thought. Candidates interested in these positions can attend walk-in interviews from April 24 to May 3, 2023.
Eligibility and Remuneration
As per the UGC norms, the eligibility criteria for these positions are set. The remuneration for UGC-qualified candidates is ₹1750 per day, subject to a maximum of ₹43,750 per month. For non-UGC candidates, the remuneration is ₹1600 per day, subject to a maximum of ₹40,000 per month.
Age Limit and Qualifications
For retired teachers from colleges/universities, the maximum age limit is 70 years as of January 1, 2023. The educational qualifications required for these positions are as per UGC norms.
