Selection Process:

Appointment, Role & Emoluments:

Selected candidates will undergo an ‘Induction Training Programme’ at the Bank’s Staff Training College, Mangaluru, or another designated place at their own cost. After training, they will be posted as an Officer in General Banking/Agriculture Field Officer (AFO)/Law Officer/Marketing Officer. They will be on probation for one year, and upon satisfactory completion, they will be confirmed. The current CTC will be around ₹10,000/- per month.

Examination Center Details:

  • The examination will be conducted online at venues specified in the respective call letters.
  • Requests for changing the center/venue/date/session of the examination will not be entertained.
  • The Bank reserves the right to cancel any Examination Centers and/or add other centers depending on the response and administrative feasibility.
  • The Bank also has the authority to allot a candidate to a different center than the one chosen by the candidate.
  • Candidates will appear for the examination at their own risk and expense, and the Bank will not be responsible for any injuries or losses of any nature.
  • The choice of the center once exercised by the candidate will be considered final.

In case a sufficient number of candidates do not opt for a particular center for the Online Examination, the Bank reserves the right to allocate any other center to those candidates. Conversely, if there are more candidates than the capacity available for an online examination center, the Bank reserves the right to assign any other center to the candidate.


  1. Candidates must report on time, as mentioned in the call letter, for the examination. Latecomers will not be allowed to take the test. The reporting time is before the actual start time of the test. The exam duration is 2 hours and 30 minutes, but candidates may need to be at the venue for about 4 hours, including various formalities.
  2. In case of any administration problems during the examination, every effort will be made to resolve them. This may include candidate movement or a delay in the test. A re-exam may be conducted at the discretion of the test conducting body, but candidates will not have a claim for a re-test. Candidates who do not cooperate with these adjustments will be rejected.
  3. If the examination is conducted in multiple sessions, scores will be equated to account for variations in test difficulty.
  4. The Bank will analyze candidates’ responses for patterns of similarity in right and wrong answers. If it is determined that responses were shared or scores are not genuine, the Bank reserves the right to cancel the candidature of the concerned candidates, and their results will be withheld. Further action may be taken against such candidates.
  5. Candidates are allowed to appear in the online examination only once. Multiple appearances will result in the cancellation of candidature. If more than one call letter is generated, candidates should appear only once on the date and time mentioned on the respective call letter. All other call letters should be surrendered.
  6. Providing incorrect information or violating the process at any stage of the selection process will lead to disqualification, and the candidate will be barred from future Bank recruitment processes.
  7. Any form of disclosing, publishing, reproducing, transmitting, storing, or facilitating transmission and storage of test contents or information therein is strictly prohibited and may result in prosecution.
  8. Scores of the Online Examination are calculated based on the number of correct answers with penalties for wrong answers. Equated scores are used to account for differences in test difficulty across different sessions.
  9. Cutoffs are applied in two stages: first on scores in individual tests and then on the total score.
