Educational Qualification: Candidate should have good academic record with at least 55% marks at the Master’s Degree level in a relevant subject from an Indian University or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign university and National Eligibility Test (NET)/ State Level Eligibility Test (SLET) State Eligibility Test (SET) shall remain the minimum eligibility condition for recruitment of Assistant Professor.
Age Limit and Reservation: 37 years as on 01/01/2016. All relaxations should be given as per government rules.
Scale of pay: Rs. 15600-39100/-
Selection Procedure: Selections will be done on the basis of Written Exam OR Interview.
Application Fee:
- Candidates have to pay Rs. 210/- + Service Charge 1% of examination fee subject to a minimum of Rs. 5/- for online payment through debit/credit card + 12.36% of service charge as Govt. duty or service charge of Rs. 5/- for Net Banking or Service Charge of Rs. 20/- only for payment through Bank Counter (offline payment).
- No fee for SC/ST candidates of West Bengal and PWD having physical disability of 40% and above.
